Now comes Holidays, a film that builds on the idea of the latter mentioned films, but expands from just Christmas and Halloween to encompass all our favourite holidays. AMC Orders Late-Night Talk Show with Kevin Smith, Greg Grunberg Hosting

AMC has ordered a new late-night talk show that will “take a timely look at pop culture through a fanboy lens,” hosted by Kevin Smith and Greg Grunberg.

With the working title of “Geeking Out,” the 30-minute show will feature talk, clips, celebrity interviews and out-of-the-studio segments. The series is expected to premiere with a special episode covering Comic-Con International: San Diego in late July, with eight more episodes to run weekly beginning late summer.

Kevin Smith Rolls Out ‘Hollyweed’ Pot Comedy Project (EXCLUSIVE)

Kevin Smith has wrapped production on “Hollyweed,” a half-hour comedy produced by FremantleMedia North America and StarStream Media, Variety has learned.

The project, written, directed by and starring Smith, is set in a Los Angeles cannabis dispensary. It follows two potheads, played by Smith and Donnell Rawlings (“Chappelle’s Show”), who battle a neighboring cookie magnate played by Kristin Bauer van Straten (“True Blood”) and enlist the help of a charming porn star played by Frankie Shaw (“Mr. Robot”), to help them navigate the ups and downs of managing a small business in their quest for profits and the perfect bud.
